How do I get the content from this MofoBox?
Just register.
By registering you will have created your own personal MofoBox. Add the ringtone, wallpaper or game you want to your MofoBox then go to your MofoBox via your personal Wap url (using your phone) and download the content to your phone.

Bookmark the WAP site on you phone so you can easily come back later.
You can also come to this website anytime to get more of the games, ringtones and wallpapers.
Remember, for funtones, polyphonics, wallpapers and java-games your phone must not only be WAP capable, it must also be WAP enabled with your carrier. Test your WAP first and make sure you've got space on your phone for the new content! Also make sure your phone has reasonable signal reception. WAP/GPRS does not work very well in poor signal conditions.

I downloaded some content but got an error! Is there a problem with my phone?
Plenty of phones are WAP capable but some older models can't play polyphonic ringtones or display photographs. We do not support Monophonic ringtones or picture messages. We will be updating the list of phones all the time so please keep checking back to see if your phone is listed. If your phone is not on our list please email us with your phone model at phonelist@mofobox.com and will try and get your model phone into the list asap.

I downloaded a FunTone, but my mobile won't play it! why?
FunTones are real tones and your mobile must be able to play real tones. Check your manual for compatibility.

General questions
Does it cost anything?
It’s Free, but downloading pictures, polyphonic ring-tones and Java games to your phone is done using a GPRS connection. Carrier charges apply for GPRS connections. Please check with your carrier for your data rates before going nuts.
Standard rate SMS charges may apply. We will use SMS on the Web site and WAP site where it makes using the service easier . If you decide to use the SMS option in some cases the carriers will charge a standard rate cost for an SMS even if you receive an SMS (USA mainly).

My phone model is not listed on your site; what should I do?
We provide the phone model lists to help you get the best results for your phone. If your model isn't listed then you can try a similar model. If you pick a similar model you may find wallpapers come through not quite matching your screen size and ring-tones not sounding quite right. If your model isn't listed send us an email to phonelist@mofobox.com and tell us your phone model and will try and get it on the list ASAP.

Polyphonic ringtones and wallpapers
My phone can't connect to the address provided on the site or in the SMS you sent me. What's going wrong?
You need to make sure your phone supports WAP (Internet access). Most modern phones provide this functionality. Talk to your service provider to make sure WAP is activated on your phone. Some service providers provide mobile phones with WAP deactivated by default. They can generally activate this for you with a phone call to their general inquiries number. Also make sure your phone has reasonable signal reception. WAP/GPRS does not work very well in poor signal conditions.

I downloaded a polyphonic ringtone, but it doesn't sound anything like it does on your website. What's the deal?
Some phones, like the old Nokia 6610, have very poor support for polyphonic ringtones. This is because they are only capable of playing a small number of instruments simultaneously.
If you really like your polyphonic ringtones, we recommend you purchase a more capable phone such as the Sony Ericssons and newer Nokias. Make sure you check that it can play at least 16 instruments per song.

The polyphonic ringtone I downloaded is too quiet on my phone. What can I do about this?
Many Sony-Ericsson T-series phones suffer from a problem with polyphonic ringtones being too quiet to be useful. Sony-Ericsson released a firmware upgrade for their phones which resolves this issue. This can be obtained by visiting any Sony-Ericsson service centre.
If you experience this problem, please make sure you set ringtone volume to maximum and do not have ringtones set to 'Ascending' (starting quiet and getting louder).

I got an SMS with an Internet address in it. What do I need to do with this?
If your phone doesn't do it automatically, you need to connect to the address shown to go to your MofoBox. Do not try to connect to this address with your computer's browser or you may prevent your phone from being able to access it.
If you have any trouble getting your item send an email to support@mofobox.com with your mobile, make and model and explain what happened.
